The DICKIES and The ANGRY SAMOANS join forces for one night only at StudioZ.tv, this Saturday, December 7th.
Since their debut in 1979, The Dickes have carved a unique niche for themselves in t,he world of Punk Rock. Thir catchy and ironic yet humorous sound captured the essence of the LA Punk Scene of the late 70's/Early 80's, and paved the way for contemporary punk bands such as Green Day. From their punchy pop/punk 1979 release "The Incredible Shrinking Dickies" until today, The Dickies were one of the first bands to say Punk could be music to have fun to.
The Angry Samoans, after bursting out on the scene in 1978, gained a reputation in the San Francisco area for raucous, satirical songs (many of which clocked in at well under one minute!), and released their debut EP "Inside My Brain" in 1980. The rest is punk history. The band in its current lineup performs rarely, so be sure not to miss out!
